Getting to know me

1. What time did you get up this morning? Once about 4:30 to let my little puppy out to go potty and then again at 8:30 .. so glad I don't have a real job ;-)

2. Diamonds or pearls? Diamonds ... and pearls

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Me and Marley ... Bring the tissue!

4. What's your favorite TV show? American Idol ... starting again soon ... Yeah!

5. What do you usually have for breakfast? A smoothy with protein powder and banana .. yummy.

6. What is your middle name? Marie

7. What food do you dislike? Canned Peas, fresh or frozen are great though. I even love split pea soup.

8. What kind of car do you drive? Scion XB ... yup a toaster on wheels

9. Favorite sandwich? Turkey breast with avocado, sprouts, cream cheese, and lots of veggies

10. What characteristic do you despise? Lying and laziness, I guess they probably go hand in hand

11. Favorite item of clothing? Sweat (exercise) pants and a tee shirt

12. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Ireland, seems like a beautiful place.

13. Are you an organized person? Nope, but I sure try.

14. Where would you retire to? Right here, in Grants Pass Oregon

15. What was your most recent memorable birthday? I got to spend my last birthday with my daughter Natalie and her hubby and my grand baby, Briana

16. What are you going to do when you finish this? Work on my listings that are on Craigslist and maybe start putting items back on ebay.

17. Furthest place you are sending this? I imagine that eventually it will make it around the world.

19. When is your birthday? November 23rd

20. Morning person or a night person? Mostly night, but when I do get up early, I love it.

22. Pets? Charlie went to go live with a sweet man that lost his dog after 11 years... so now we have a little to no shedding puppy. Her name is Sophie. She is 11 weeks today and is a hoot. She is a really cute peekapoo

23. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? Yup, Jon and I are starting a complete exercise fitness program... almost a one on one training ... 4 days a week!

24. What did you want to be when you were little? To work with people with developmental delays... I did work for Early Intervention for 6 years before quitting so I could take care of my kids.

25. How are you today? Its not my birthday

26. What is your favorite flower? Wild and anything that has a great smell.

27. What are you listening to right now? What do you think? Judge Joe brown. Not my favorite guy though.

28. What day on the calendar are you looking forward to? Jan 21st, I have my first jury duty. Might be interesting

29. The last thing you ate? Jon's yummy Chicken Noodle soup

30. Do you wish on stars? No, but I do pray to the one who makes them and knows each one by name.

31. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Pink, you should see my room.

32. How is the weather right now? Cool, not too cold, maybe about 40ish

33. Last person you spoke to on the phone? A potential guest for Rogue River Roost, before that, my mom.

34. Favorite soft drink? Diet coke, actually Diet Coke One

35. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Walk and enjoy the beauty the God has gifted us

36. Hair color? Brown? blond? well ... maybe gray. What ever box I pick up at Walmart

37. What was your favorite toy as a child? A pogo stick, I was pretty good too. Some stilts my dad made for me.

38. Summer or Winter? Spring and fall lol

41. Do you want your friends to email you back? I love getting email from my friends

42. When was the last time you cried? Watching that sad movie, "Me and Marley"

43. What is under your bed? Besides, dust bunnies? A couple of storage bins

44. What did you do last night? Um, watch I Love Lucy... the very first one...and a few more. I just love that girl

45. What are you afraid of? Jumping out of an airplane

46. Salty or sweet? Yummy apple with salt or watermelon with salt.

47. How many years at your current job? Going on 4 years... Need a place to stay while visiting Grants pass?

48. Favorite day of the week? Sunday

49 Do you make friends easily? Yes, I think so

Writing, and by choice

Who thought of this blogging thing anyways? I never was particularly fond of writing. Heck, I have tons of blank spaces in my scrapbooks that STILL need my journaling. I have to tell myself that I am an adult that I am choosing to do this and that its going to be fun. Everyone else seems to enjoy it so, why not?

John Travolta's son died. I am so thankful that I still have my children and my heart goes out to their family. My guess is that they are grieving, and grieving hard. I wish they knew Jesus. In this most difficult time, they would feel peace that only He can give.
